Hello!
Malyssa Ollar is a Baltimore and Tampa based painter attending Maryland Institute College of Art. A graduate of the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School, she has also received formal training at both Brown University (RI) and Kansas City Art Institute (MO). Working in acrylic paint and fiber, she uses sewing, embroidery, and quilting to create texture within her paintings. Her work primarily focuses on what womanhood looks like in contemporary America.
